The Prophet You Must Listen To | Acts 3:22-26
Mar 15, 2026 • Juan M. Ocampo
In Acts 3:22-26, Peter concludes his powerful sermon to the Israelites by pointing them to Jesus as the prophet Moses foretold. We examined how God raised up Jesus as the ultimate prophet who must be obeyed, how all the Old Testament prophets pointed forward to Christ's coming, and how God promised to bless all families of the earth through Abraham's offspring—Jesus Christ. This passage poses an unavoidable question: Will we listen to and obey the one God has sent? The implications for our spiritual life are profound—our faith is not merely about claiming to believe in God, but about actively listening to Christ's words and submitting to His authority in our daily lives.
