Chapel Hill cares about one thing more than anything else: Jesus Christ. Chapel Hill is a family of individuals who have found hope in Jesus and want as many people as possible to experience that same hope. We want to be a family to you and your loved ones.
In the Fall of 2005, a small group began meeting together in worship and Bible study with a vision to establish a new church in Tallahassee, Florida. Chapel Hill Baptist Church was the result of that vision and was organized in 2006.
We are currently located on Old Bainbridge Road and are led by our pastor Juan Ocampo. Our pastor planted and has been leading our Hispanic sister church, Cristo Fusion, since 2010. Chapel Hill Baptist Church and Cristo Fusion make up a community of faith of diverse cultures, of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Christ through the timeless Word of God.
What's the bottom line? More than ever, Chapel Hill is committed to fostering a family built around Christ and the hope we have in Him. In Christ, we have hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. And as we move forward as a church family, a sense of family, and belonging, remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
What does this mean for you? Most importantly, you're always welcome at Chapel Hill. We're saving a seat for you. Wherever you're at in your faith, you'll always be welcome as part of the Chapel Hill family as we all walk together in obedience to Christ.
